Responsibilities
- Create and maintain high-performance, low-latency backend systems for managing remote assist sessions and streaming data in real time.
- Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure for remote support services using technologies such as protobuf and gRPC across multiple AWS regions.
- Develop and maintain data storage layers using no sql databases, including Redis, to support service requirements.
- Construct data pipelines that collect, process, and store real-time information from autonomous vehicles.
- Work closely with onboard software and front-end teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end data integration.
- Maintain the security, dependability, and fault tolerance of backend systems, including handling network outages and failover scenarios.
- Improve data encoding and transfer methods to reduce server-side latency and bandwidth consumption.
