Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance services using the Go programming language to improve system availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
- Engage in code and architectural design reviews to maintain strong engineering standards
- Support capacity planning and conduct performance analysis, tuning, and optimization of services
- Partner with engineering teams to design scalable and efficient system architectures
- Collaborate with product and user experience teams to define and prototype new features; work with infrastructure teams on backend development and root cause analysis
- Design, build, monitor, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems while resolving complex production issues
