Verkada is seeking a Software Engineer to build cloud-managed intercom systems. You'll join a small, dynamic team considered a startup within a startup, working alongside firmware, mobile, and frontend engineers with significant ownership and autonomy.
What You'll Do
- Take a less-than-fully-fleshed-out product idea and drive it to completion.
- Own mobile applications end-to-end.
- Drive technical direction and lead teams on project execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design complex and latency sensitive systems.
What We're Looking For
- A BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science.
- 7+ years of industry mobile software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a mobile engineer at a rapidly growing startup or innovative company.
- In-depth understanding of Swift and iOS SDK.
- Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
- Experience working with backend server APIs.
- Strong UI development skills.
- Strong unit testing skills.
- A history of shipping significant products.
