Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain services for retail banking and third-party integration platforms.
- Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code in line with established standards and best practices.
- Lead mid-scale feature development from initial design to deployment.
- Engage in code reviews by giving and receiving actionable feedback.
- Develop and sustain unit and integration tests to ensure service reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within distributed systems.
- Help improve automation, testing strategies, and CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Take part in technical discussions, suggesting improvements in design, architecture, or processes.
- Support junior engineers through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges clearly to stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and industry standards.
- Develop understanding of financial services and regulated environments.
- Actively engage in team knowledge-sharing sessions and retrospectives.
