This role focuses on designing and implementing software features for collaboration devices that support modern digital workplaces. The engineer will work within a technical team to develop secure, high-performance solutions used in real-time communication tools, ensuring reliability across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software components for collaboration hardware platforms, aligning with system architecture and user needs.
- Partner with technical leads and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks in existing software systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards.
- Support automation efforts and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and assist team members through mentorship and collaboration.
- Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to embedded and networked device software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of software development experience, or Master’s degree with three or more years in a related field.
- Background in developing software for embedded systems or network devices.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges in a collaborative setting.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automation testing and CI/CD workflows.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary range is $126,500 to $182,000, with higher ranges in certain locations such as the NYC Metro and non-metro areas of New York and Washington. The position is eligible for restricted stock unit grants, annual bonuses for non-sales roles, and performance-based incentives.
