Radical AI is hiring a Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for managing experiments, sample path-planning, and durable task execution in lab environments
• Design and manage database schemas, data migrations, ETL pipelines, and scalable object storage with efficient partitioning strategies
• Build and support internal developer platforms including tooling, SDKs, shared services, and reusable service templates
• Implement observability solutions using structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and production debugging tools such as OpenTelemetry and Prometheus with Grafana
• Manage hybrid infrastructure combining cloud and on-premises systems using containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Develop agent capabilities including API integrations, secure code execution, scientific literature retrieval, and workflow automation features
• Orchestrate complex scientific workflows involving Bayesian optimization, experiment scheduling, long-running jobs, retry logic, and idempotent operations
• Build and maintain data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and serving data to machine learning models and large language models
