Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and sustain backend systems with defined performance, latency, and reliability standards.
- Create distributed systems that scale to support real-time fraud identification, analysis, and automated response workflows.
- Collaborate with data science to implement machine learning components, including feature engineering, live inference, testing, and monitoring.
- Integrate generative AI technologies such as large language models for reasoning, evidence synthesis, and automation of investigative processes.
- Lead project delivery from concept through deployment, including testing, implementation, and ongoing operational support.
- Evolve platform infrastructure using microservices, data streaming, automated CI/CD pipelines, and configuration-based management.
- Ensure AI systems are transparent, auditable, safe, and include monitoring, fallbacks, and safeguards.
- Guide early-career engineers through technical mentorship, code reviews, and architectural feedback.
- Partner with engineering, product, operations, and security teams to drive measurable improvements in fraud prevention capabilities.
