Bose Corporation is hiring a Software Developer & Integration Lead

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery of platform software projects from initial requirements to final integration and validation, ensuring on-time and high-quality outcomes for licensable audio technologies.
  • Design and maintain platform-level software for real-time embedded systems using C/C++, integrating multiple SDKs from various SoC vendors to produce reliable, production-grade solutions.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of audio modeling frameworks and the implementation, integration, testing, and packaging of audio algorithms into licensable software platforms.
  • Assist internal and external partners with integration, deployment, and validation of audio technologies, serving as a technical liaison with strong communication and collaborative troubleshooting skills.
  • Engage in cross-functional planning to advocate for software and audio technology needs, monitor risks and dependencies using standard project tools, and support execution, stepping in for software management when required.
  • Establish integration approaches, assist in tracking dependencies, and help develop reusable, scalable software modules to streamline deployment across partners and product lines.
  • Contribute to software infrastructure in a dynamic, agile environment by building unit tests, automated testing systems, and CI/CD pipelines, improving development workflows for better quality and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with systems, quality assurance, security, and licensing teams to ensure full compliance, integration readiness, and end-to-end coverage.
  • Test and validate low-latency audio systems, evaluate real-time performance, and refine software to meet technical and user experience standards for products and partners.
  • Document technical details, system architecture, integration configurations, and project progress to ensure clarity, support partner onboarding, and enable long-term maintenance.
