About the Role
The coordinator will develop survey frameworks that combine social and ecological data, manage research teams, and ensure methodological rigor across field studies focused on environmental systems and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive survey instruments integrating social science and ecological indicators
- Coordinate data collection protocols across multiple research sites
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to align survey objectives
- Ensure ethical standards and regulatory compliance in human subjects research
- Manage timelines and deliverables for survey implementation phases
- Conduct statistical analysis of survey results using appropriate software tools
- Integrate qualitative and quantitative data for holistic assessment
- Produce technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations
- Support grant proposal development with methodological expertise
- Present research outcomes at academic and stakeholder meetings
- Train team members in survey administration and data entry procedures
- Maintain databases for longitudinal tracking of socio-ecological variables
- Evaluate survey effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Facilitate community engagement activities related to research goals
- Ensure cultural sensitivity in survey design and implementation
- Coordinate translation and validation of survey instruments when needed
- Monitor data quality and consistency across collection points
- Develop metadata documentation for data repositories
- Support integration of geospatial data with survey responses
- Work with external partners to align survey goals with policy needs
