Responsibilities
- Lead the launch of our Instagram channel in Germany, while managing and growing our LinkedIn and YouTube presence across Germany and the UK.
- Execute the social media strategy and own the content calendars for Germany and the UK across LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
- Collaborate with internal teams to brief high-quality assets and be hands-on with short-form video, creating content that feels native to each platform.
- Proactively connect with Hospitality clients to uncover unique stories. Lead creative ideation and bring forward concepts that deliver authentic, scroll-stopping content.
- Be the voice of Lightspeed for our German and British communities, answering comments and starting conversations.
- Use Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite to monitor performance and provide recommendations to improve our reach and growth.
- Use Monday.com to track timelines and Jira to manage creative deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Act as the final filter for organic social in your region, ensuring everything we publish meets our premium brand and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally in SaaS, tech or hospitality.
- Proven track record of managing multiple platforms - specifically LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube - and you’re comfortable taking full ownership of a content calendar.
- You’ve handled the end-to-end process before: from briefing and scripting to interviewing customers, editing, and hitting "publish."
- You are a regular user of social media management and analytics tools (like Hootsuite) and are comfortable navigating Meta Business Suite.
- You have experience working cross-functionally with different teams and can manage multiple projects without losing track of the details.
- Native-level German and high proficiency in English
- Tech savvy: You’re tech-savvy and know how to leverage AI, social, and video tools to scale content production and make your workflows more efficient.
- Story-teller: You don’t just write captions; you tell stories. You have a knack for adapting your tone of voice to suit different platforms and audiences perfectly.
- Data-driven: You have a strong understanding of social metrics. You don’t just look at the numbers; you translate them into clear, actionable recommendations for the team.
- Trend expert: You stay on top of the latest platform updates, social trends, and hospitality industry news.
- Strategic Thinker: You always see the bigger picture. You know how to align your social media efforts with broader marketing goals to drive real business impact.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching or scaling social media channels (especially Instagram) in new markets.
- Experience working with influencer or creator collaborations.
- Affinity with the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.
