Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in academic, government, and biopharmaceutical sectors
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for potential clients
- Collaborate with field application scientists to support customer evaluations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and procurement teams
- Understand customer research goals to recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales forecasts
- Track and report on sales activities using CRM systems
- Coordinate with marketing to tailor campaigns for regional audiences
- Attend scientific conferences and trade shows to generate leads
- Stay current on competitive technologies and market trends
- Support contract negotiations and purchasing processes
- Provide customer feedback to product development teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas
- Work cross-functionally with technical support and logistics teams
- Educate customers on workflow integration and data interpretation
- Manage post-sale follow-up to ensure satisfaction
- Address technical inquiries with assistance from support teams
