Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts at a local fulfillment center, managing both warehouse and kitchen workflows. Take responsibility for order accuracy, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned shifts by guiding team members, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and upholding safety and quality standards
- Supervise inventory handling and equipment use to prevent loss or damage
- Ensure customer orders are processed correctly and Dashers can pick up seamlessly
- Act as the go-to person for resolving operational issues during the shift
- Support associates through hands-on leadership and on-the-spot coaching
- Communicate professionally with customers when challenges arise
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and elevate service quality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college diploma a plus
- Experience in food service, retail, or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Comfort using Google Docs and Sheets for daily tasks
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate
- Flexible availability to meet shifting site demands
- Skilled in operating a pallet jack and hand truck
