Responsibilities
- Architects full system solutions aligned with specified requirements
- Collaborates with government personnel and management to define functional and technical specifications, data handling procedures, and system design details
- Converts functional needs into technical system designs for software development
- Executes software testing using generated test datasets
- Presents analysis outcomes, suggestions, and technical specifications through written reports and verbal briefings
- Produces required system documentation as outlined in task orders
- Coordinates with government and contractor teams to clarify objectives, resolve issues, and recommend enhancements
- Offers technical leadership, guidance, and oversight to junior team members
- Creates and implements database architectures and processes using SQL Server or Oracle
- Partners closely with developers and database administrators
- Writes code for web-based applications
- Collaborates with quality assurance teams to resolve identified defects
- Establishes secure access protocols and authentication methods
- Builds mobile applications for Android or iOS platforms
- Migrates legacy classic ASP applications to modern ASP.NET frameworks
- Conducts unit testing on software modules according to defined test criteria
- Revises program and test documentation when inconsistencies are found
- Supplies input on user interface design, core business logic, and feature functionality
