Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test cases for ServiceNow applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using testing tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation.
  • Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Provide feedback on testability of requirements and designs.
  • Support the creation of automated test scripts.
  • Conduct performance and security testing as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow releases and features.
  • Assist in the development of test strategies and plans.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects.
  • Provide status reports on testing activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with other QA team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and pair testing sessions.
  • Support the deployment of ServiceNow applications in various environments.
  • Ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and milestones.
  • Provide input on the test data management process.
  • Assist in the creation of test reports and documentation.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in a structured and organized manner.

Nice to Have

  • Certification in ServiceNow or related QA certifications.
  • Experience with ServiceNow implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules.

  • Experience with ServiceNow IT operations management (ITOM).
