NinjaHoldings is looking for an SEO Content Writer to lead the creation, optimization, and ongoing improvement of written content across our digital properties. You will develop new web copy, conduct SEO keyword research, manage social media, and refine existing content to drive organic growth and engagement for our lean, innovative team seeking to disrupt consumer finance.
What You'll Do
- Develop compelling copy aligned with business goals.
- Edit new and existing content from team members and vendors.
- Utilize tools and resources to produce, review, and edit content, following rewrite process guides.
- Develop and maintain compelling copy well-received by prospects and customers.
- Write a variety of content types from blogs to social media posts to long-form research.
- Continuously improve existing content to increase visibility in search engine results.
- Conduct keyword research to identify new content opportunities.
- Support organic growth initiatives and broader marketing efforts.
- Adhere to cohesive brand voice and editing process.
- Work closely with the Content Manager to produce high-quality website content.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent job experience.
- 3+ years of professional digital copywriting experience.
- Financial industry experience.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Superior understanding and application of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax (knowledge of AP style preferred).
- Experience writing for and managing corporate social media profiles.
- Proven experience with advertising copywriting, campaign management, PR, or editorial.
- Ability to craft creative and strategic messaging that emotionally engages target audiences.
- Must be self-directed with excellent follow-through and initiative.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to efficiently manage time based on business priorities.
- Adaptable to rework copy based on feedback and give/receive feedback productively.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or other keyword research and SEO tools.
- Experience using ChatGPT and other LLMs / AI software.
- Experience with HTML & CSS.
- Experience with WordPress specifically.
