Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and manage the Figma design system library with reusable, accessible components using advanced Auto Layout, Variants, and nested structures.
- Maintain exact consistency between Figma design elements and their React code counterparts by aligning with front-end development limitations.
- Create detailed documentation for component behavior and usage standards within the Asio platform, including recommended and discouraged practices.
- Lead quality validation for design components by testing both interactive functionality and visual accuracy in Figma and code.
- Serve as a go-to resource for UX designers, advising on how to audit designs for component reuse, variant needs, or updates to the system.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to assess component feasibility, review builds, and support integration into the shared codebase.
- Oversee the contribution workflow by evaluating, approving, and integrating proposed component changes from cross-functional teams.
- Organize recurring design system syncs with design and engineering teams to align on definitions, ensure UI uniformity, and uphold system standards.
- Help shape the design system roadmap and backlog, prioritizing components that support new features and reduce technical debt.
