About the Role
You will own the end-to-end design of features and workflows for RunMyJobs, an enterprise automation platform, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and customers to create intuitive experiences for complex automation workflows used by finance and IT teams. You will also play a key role in building a new design system from the ground up, establishing reusable patterns and components across the product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle UX design for complete features and workflows in RunMyJobs
- Design clear, user-friendly interfaces for complex enterprise automation use cases such as job scheduling, workflow orchestration, and system monitoring
- Develop user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that align user needs with technical limitations
- Work daily with product managers and engineering teams to deliver polished, user-centered experiences
- Engage in agile rituals and maintain consistent design delivery in line with engineering sprints
- Perform design quality assurance and partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation
- Organize and conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, and observational studies
- Translate research data into practical insights and actionable design improvements
- Develop deep understanding of enterprise users such as finance teams, IT administrators, and automation engineers
- Test design concepts with real users and refine based on feedback
- Collaborate with product management and customer success teams to identify user pain points and requirements
- Help create a unified design system across the company's product suite
- Build reusable design components, patterns, and documentation that support scalability
- Evaluate existing design assets and integrate them into a consistent system
- Document interaction patterns and design standards for team-wide use
- Work with engineers to implement components and manage design tokens
- Promote consistent design language and accessibility compliance across all products
- Present design proposals to stakeholders across departments and integrate feedback
- Partner with product managers to define feature scope and measure success
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are technically viable
- Explain design decisions using data, user insights, and business context
- Guide junior designers and promote design best practices
- Use AI-powered tools daily to speed up ideation, content creation, and workflow efficiency
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in UX or product design, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX work including research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
- Extensive experience designing for complex, data-intensive enterprise applications
- Proficiency in Figma as the primary design tool, along with modern prototyping and design software
- Daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Midjourney to improve design workflows and productivity
- Proven ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
- Experience working in agile development environments with engineering teams
- Solid grasp of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles
- Demonstrated experience conducting user research and turning findings into design improvements
- Background in creating or contributing to design systems and component libraries
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Nice to Have
- Experience designing automation tools, workflow systems, or developer-focused software
- Familiarity with enterprise domains such as ERP, finance, IT operations, or DevOps
- Knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG and inclusive design practices
- Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and React for better collaboration with developers
- Experience applying AI tools to design system tasks such as component generation or design token automation
- Track record of delivering complex features in cross-functional product teams
- Experience using user analytics to inform design decisions
- Contributions to open-source design systems or published design work

YOUR IMPACT
As Senior UX Designer, you will lead the end-to-end design of features and workflows for RunMyJobs, an enterprise automation platform. You'll play a key role in building the company's design system from the ground up, establishing patterns and components that scale across the product portfolio.
Product Design & Delivery
- Own end-to-end UX design for entire features and workflows within RunMyJobs
- Design intuitive interfaces for complex enterprise automation scenarios (job scheduling, workflow orchestration, monitoring)
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance user needs with technical constraints
- Collaborate daily with product managers and engineers to ship high-quality experiences
- Participate in agile ceremonies and maintain design velocity alongside engineering sprints
- Conduct design QA and work with engineering to ensure implementation fidelity
User Research & Insights
- Plan and conduct user research activities (interviews, usability tests, observation sessions)
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations
- Build empathy for enterprise users (finance teams, IT admins, automation engineers)
- Validate design decisions with real users and iterate based on feedback
- Partner with product management and customer success to understand user needs
Design System & Standards
- Contribute to building a new design system for the product portfolio
- Create reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that scale across features
- Consider existing design artifacts and evolve them into a cohesive system
- Document design patterns and interaction standards
- Collaborate with engineers on component implementation and design tokens
- Advocate for design consistency and accessibility across products
Collaboration & Communication
- Present design work to cross-functional stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Partner with product managers to define feature scope and success metrics
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible
- Articulate design rationale and defend decisions with data and user insights
- Mentor junior designers and share best practices
- Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate design exploration, content generation, and workflow efficiency
