This position is part of the Global Business and Operations (GBO) Engineering team within the Ads organization, focusing on creating AI-first internal tools for agency sales teams. The role involves leading a new product initiative from ideation to delivery, collaborating closely with engineering and product management to build intuitive, user-centered experiences that adhere to design standards.
Responsibilities
- Create AI-driven user experiences with a strong emphasis on design quality, establishing the visual and functional language for agency-facing tools.
- Promote user experience best practices through design sprints, critiques, and review sessions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Lead full-cycle design execution, from initial concepts to final specifications, utilizing wireframing and high-fidelity prototyping techniques.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX specialists to develop design solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
- Present design concepts with clear reasoning and work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation according to design specs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of professional experience in interaction design within product or UX design roles.
- Proven experience in project management, working across functions, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Submission of a portfolio, personal website, or relevant work sample link with the application, ensuring it is accessible and viewable.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Three years of experience operating in cross-functional organizational environments.
- Two years of experience leading design initiatives or managing design projects.
- Experience designing products involving artificial intelligence, navigating the uncertainty of a fast-evolving AI landscape.
- Familiarity with desktop interface design patterns, web browsers, or operating system conventions.
- Strong ability to articulate abstract design ideas clearly and persuasively.

Compensation
US base salary range is $159,000-$231,000. Includes equity and bonus. Base salary varies by role, level, and location. Individual compensation considers work location, skills, experience, and education. Listed figures reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
