Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of cash management across numerous bank accounts and decentralized collection points, including retail kiosks and field locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of deposits, in-transit funds, and discrepancies across multiple platforms by collaborating with Accounting and Operations teams.
- Lead high-volume reconciliation processes, investigating variances to maintain precision in journal entries, cash reporting, and account balancing.
- Monitor daily cash balances and credit line utilization to support disbursements, while tracking volatility, deposit flows, and debt servicing costs.
- Develop and deliver short- and long-term cash flow projections to executive leadership for strategic planning purposes.
- Take full ownership of debt compliance activities, including covenant calculations, lender reporting, and adherence to credit agreement terms.
- Translate debt covenants into operational guidelines to ensure business practices remain within contractual boundaries.
- Act as the main point of contact for lenders, handling communications, data requests, agreement modifications, and refinancing efforts.
- Support negotiations around credit facility terms, including covenant structures and refinancing strategies, with detailed financial analysis.
- Maintain complete, audit-ready records and internal controls for all debt-related obligations.
- Assist in capital structure planning, board reporting, and investor-facing financial disclosures.
- Analyze fluctuations in operating cash flows and manage liquidity levels to ensure all payment obligations are met on time.
- Invest surplus cash in accordance with policy to optimize returns while preserving liquidity and safety.
- Supervise secure processing of ACH, wire, and foreign exchange transactions with appropriate controls.
- Develop and refine treasury policies, internal controls, and compliance protocols aligned with regulations and credit agreements.
- Identify and assess financial risks—including interest rate, foreign exchange, liquidity, and counterparty exposure—and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure strong governance practices for cash, debt, FX, and financial reporting processes.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, streamline account structures, and negotiate service terms and fees.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of treasury systems, ERP integrations, and banking technology platforms.
- Lead system upgrades and implementations to enhance reconciliation accuracy and data reliability.
- Drive automation initiatives for treasury workflows and reporting in collaboration with IT, enabling scalability in high-volume environments.
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Tax teams on debt compliance, reporting, and cash reconciliations.
- Provide treasury support to business units, including guidance on cash handling and payment operations.
- Manage vendor relationships with payment processors, banks, and financial service providers.
- Supervise treasury team members or outsourced providers, promoting accountability and continuous process improvement.
