Role Overview

As a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist in the cardiovascular space, you will lead field engagement efforts across a designated territory, focusing on advancing the appropriate use of innovative cardiovascular treatments. Your primary responsibility is to foster meaningful, science-driven conversations with healthcare providers, including community physicians and regional key opinion leaders, to support optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive demand for approved cardiovascular therapies by delivering accurate, label-aligned scientific information to healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to effectively reach and engage target providers.
  • Maintain deep scientific knowledge of assigned products and emerging clinical data to support informed discussions.
  • Conduct in-office presentations and educational sessions, including lunch-and-learn events, using approved materials.
  • Coordinate external speaker programs by selecting qualified speakers and managing logistics in compliance with guidelines.
  • Leverage digital tools such as CE^3, CRM systems, and virtual communication platforms to enhance planning and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with medical teams via Medical on Call to address unsolicited technical inquiries with scientific accuracy.
  • Share market insights with internal stakeholders to inform strategy and improve customer support.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all field activities.
  • Work exclusively in the field, building trusted relationships through consistent, customer-focused interactions.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold an advanced degree in a scientific discipline or have at least five years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare. Prior experience in sales, medical science liaison roles, nursing, or direct HCP engagement is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, managing accounts, and communicating complex clinical data is essential.

Cardiovascular therapeutic experience is highly valued. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license in good standing, and meet the company’s driving risk criteria.
