About the Role
This role is responsible for expanding market presence in key healthcare accounts by engaging with decision-makers, understanding institutional goals, and aligning technology solutions to advance patient care and research initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within healthcare networks
- Develop long-term relationships with clinical and administrative leaders
- Present technical capabilities of genomic platforms to diverse stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer implementations
- Track and report sales performance against defined targets
- Conduct site assessments to determine customer readiness and needs
- Deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept proposals
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes
- Provide feedback to product teams based on customer insights
- Coordinate training and onboarding for new customers
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Support marketing initiatives tailored to regional accounts
- Advocate for customer needs within the organization
- Ensure compliance with all sales and data policies
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline
- Prior experience with genomic sequencing platforms
- Existing network of contacts in Southeastern U.S. healthcare systems
- Track record in selling to academic medical centers
- Experience navigating group purchasing organizations
