Responsibilities
- Developer documentation: Work alongside our development teams to produce step-by-step procedures for integrating with our platform, as well as documents that define and contextualize what each part of our data model is used for.
- API documentation: Translate our API functionality into easy-to-follow instructions for writing API requests and understanding responses.
- Operations documentation: Create upgrade guides, installation guides, security handbooks and other related documents for operations teams.
- Architecture documentation: Document our complex platform architecture.
- Team guidance & leadership: Guide our rapidly-expanding team on best practices for documentation and documentation-related processes.
Requirements
- experience working in software engineering and systems integration
- experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector
- familiarity with Open API schemas
- ability to make API calls using tools such as Postman and Bruno
- familiarity with checking out code using Git
- ability to run CLI commands to connect to environments
- ability to read and write JSON code at a basic level
- ability to develop a rapport with software engineering team
- ability to produce documentation right away
- value precise, direct and fuss-free language
