Shape how technical knowledge is shared in the automotive industry. As a Senior Technical Writer, you'll play a central role in transforming intricate vehicle engineering data into accessible, actionable content for technicians, engineers, and partners worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles, application notes, and instructional guides based on input from engineering experts.
- Lead documentation from concept to publication, covering datasheets, white papers, and blog content.
- Use AI-powered tools to streamline drafting, improve content structure, and enhance search visibility through smart phrasing and keyword integration.
- Convert advanced diagnostic information into step-by-step procedures, illustrated workflows, and real-world troubleshooting examples.
- Oversee translation and localization to ensure technical accuracy and cultural appropriateness across global markets.
- Update critical content on emerging technologies—including electric vehicles, noise-vibration-harshness (NVH), and serial communication protocols—within defined freshness cycles.
- Design content that not only informs but also drives engagement and connects users to relevant product resources.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background in technical writing or engineering communication, particularly in automotive systems.
- Deep understanding of vehicle diagnostics, including CAN, LIN, OBD-II, and NVH measurement techniques.
- Exceptional clarity in written English, with a focus on precision and usability.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and marketing teams to gather insights and refine messaging.
- Experience managing multilingual content pipelines for international audiences.
- Organized, self-driven, and committed to maintaining up-to-date, technically accurate documentation.
Tools & Technologies
