Trupanion is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager, Enterprise Digital Integrations

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategic direction, and prioritized roadmap for enterprise integration solutions and shared platform capabilities.
  • Create and manage a multi-quarter product roadmap that supports organizational objectives, technical direction, and business priorities.
  • Evaluate and balance business impact, technical effort, operational needs, security requirements, and architectural limitations when setting investment priorities.
  • Collaborate with technology and business executives to identify opportunities for improving system scalability, reliability, efficiency, security, and customer experience.
  • Lead modernization and continuous enhancement initiatives across integration platforms, enterprise systems, and shared technology services.
  • Act as primary product owner for enterprise integrations, APIs, backend services, and platform-level capabilities.
  • Gather business needs from stakeholders and convert them into clear technical requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of system architecture, service interdependencies, integration methods, and platform limitations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to make balanced decisions on feature prioritization and resolve conflicts between business and technical demands.
  • Explain technical trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Support architectural planning and solution evaluations by ensuring designs meet business and operational needs.
  • Facilitate alignment across multiple teams operating within complex, interconnected enterprise environments.
  • Own the integration roadmap connecting internal systems, third-party vendors, partner networks, and enterprise applications.
  • Lead product strategy and prioritization for integrations involving ERP, CRM, marketing technology, MDM, CDP, identity management, financial systems, data warehouses, analytics platforms, contact center tools, and other enterprise services.
  • Promote API-first and event-driven integration approaches where applicable to improve flexibility and scalability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to define integration patterns that are secure, scalable, and sustainable.
  • Enforce consistency, governance, and standardization across integration frameworks, data models, and business processes.
  • Work with business and technology leaders to strengthen data quality, system interoperability, automation, and master data management.
  • Ensure all integrations meet requirements for reliability, security, auditability, scalability, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Build expertise in application monitoring, observability practices, and operational tooling used across the platform.
  • Analyze logs, telemetry, dashboards, alerts, and system health data to identify areas for product and operational improvements.
  • Use monitoring tools such as Datadog to assess system performance, detect integration issues, and understand user-impacting incidents.
  • Take part in incident reviews, root cause analyses, and post-mortem discussions following production events.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve recurring operational problems and improve system stability.
  • Monitor key platform metrics including reliability, throughput, latency, error rates, integration health, and service performance.
