This role is central to shaping the end-to-end charging experience for electric vehicles, focusing on system design, integration, and performance across infotainment and compute platforms. The Senior System Specialist will define and manage technical requirements, ensuring alignment between software, hardware, and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine system-level requirements for charging functionality across vehicle platforms
- Define interfaces, operational states, and performance benchmarks for embedded and cloud-connected systems
- Break down high-level product goals into actionable components for software and platform teams
- Work closely with engineering, UX, mobile, and cloud services teams to ensure seamless integration
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, including root-cause analysis and resolution during development cycles
- Improve system reliability and user experience through continuous feedback and iteration
- Maintain documentation, traceability, and readiness for program reviews and milestones
Qualifications
Candidates should have a background in systems or software engineering with direct experience in automotive or embedded systems. A degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
- Minimum of 5 years in systems engineering, EV charging, infotainment, or related fields
- Proven knowledge of software architecture, embedded development, and testing frameworks
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or DNG
- Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and Behavior-Driven Development
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills across global teams
Preferred Experience
- 8+ years in automotive systems, particularly infotainment or vehicle charging systems
- Hands-on work with EV energy management or charging behavior
- Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools like Rhapsody and modeling languages such as SysML
Work Environment

Compensation and Benefits
