Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the structural design and delivery of projects across a range of market sectors.
- Prepare and review structural analysis, calculations, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to develop practical, efficient, and sustainable design outcomes.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to support successful project outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to a strong culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements
- Technically strong background in structural engineering
- Experience in structural design and delivery of engineering projects
- Ability to prepare and review structural analysis, calculations, and engineering documentation
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA)
- Proven ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Project management skills including managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
