Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and respond to field inquiries
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve design and construction-related challenges
  • Act as the lead technical expert for project groups, offering advanced guidance on intricate structural engineering problems
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and detailed analysis to support all stages of project planning and design
  • Create and enforce thorough study and design procedures to uphold quality and cost efficiency
  • Carry out detailed cross-disciplinary evaluations of project outputs to ensure technical accuracy and compliance
  • Generate accurate construction cost forecasts and technical effort estimates with responsibility for reliability
  • Prepare key elements of the Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E) package with precision and adherence to regulations
  • Perform detailed quality assurance checks on engineering calculations and drawings to confirm correctness and code compliance
  • Write clear and comprehensive technical specification documents outlining project requirements and performance standards
  • Assist in formulating engineering budgets and timelines that align with project scope and deadlines
  • Visit construction sites to observe work, detect field issues, and deliver expert technical solutions for design and construction conflicts
