Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of detailed client proposals, including scope of services, engineering studies, and accurate budget and timeline projections.
- Work independently with minimal oversight while guiding and supporting junior engineering staff through mentorship and collaboration.
- Perform high-level technical evaluations and develop novel approaches to solve intricate or unconventional engineering problems.
- Serve as lead designer, ensuring all work complies with applicable design codes and recognized industry practices.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on engineering calculations and design drawings to uphold accuracy and reliability.
- Coordinate with technical team members, supervising their design and review tasks to ensure deliverables align with organizational quality benchmarks.
- Generate precise construction cost forecasts and estimate technical resource requirements for projects across various sizes and complexities.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and documentation for clients, regulatory bodies, and public stakeholders.
- Manage key aspects of project delivery, including financial accountability, quality assurance, and adherence to project timelines.
