Responsibilities
- Lead the development and promotion of corporate and industry narratives in North America and Quebec, aligning with company vision and product strategy.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key journalists and influencers in technology, business, and general media.
- Collaborate with the Director of PR to define positions on policy issues in Canada and the United States.
- Enhance visibility in business and enterprise technology media through targeted outreach.
- Produce and refine high-impact communications such as press releases, briefings, speeches, and executive articles.
- Ensure consistency in messaging by reviewing agency and partner materials against global communication standards and brand voice.
- Engage with executive teams and internal groups to align messaging with strategic goals, including product launches and customer stories.
- Coordinate with data and analytics teams to plan data-centric stories around key product releases and events.
- Align public relations efforts with sales and marketing strategies to support revenue objectives.
- Assist leadership with media readiness, issue response, and crisis communication planning.
- Apply creative and forward-thinking approaches to position the company as an industry leader and engage key audiences.
- Define clear goals and performance indicators for communication campaigns; monitor and report on outcomes.
- Manage multiple initiatives using Monday.com, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting and resource use to maintain efficient project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of advancing experience in public relations or corporate communications, ideally within B2B tech or high-growth tech environments.
- Outstanding writing ability with a talent for distilling complex ideas into clear, strategic messages for varied audiences.
- Demonstrated success in earning significant media placements in technology and business publications.
- Experience advising and working alongside senior executives on communication strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Skilled in data storytelling, able to transform statistics into compelling narratives.
- Background in crisis communications and issue management support.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in English and French is highly beneficial due to the company's headquarters location.
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms is advantageous.
