Responsibilities
- Leads a team in executing continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methods.
- Supports the development of onboarding training materials for new team members.
- Offers guidance and direction to junior staff as required.
- Documents and reports disputes by compiling relevant details in SharePoint using the Issues Control Sheet.
- Investigates and gathers data to resolve outstanding unpaid invoices.
- Evaluates progress of key performance measures and provides actionable recommendations.
- Reviews approval requirements and compliance criteria, offering input and suggestions.
- Contributes to internal control processes and tracks resolution of identified issues.
- Conducts Statements of Account (SOA) reconciliations.
- Examines dispute claims and change requests, seeking clarification when necessary.
- Develops alternative solutions for recurring or complex issues.
- Obtains commitments from stakeholders—including buyers, vendors, and finance leads—on critical deliverables such as credit/debit note issuance and variance approvals.
- Diagnoses and resolves system-related hold issues, including logical, database, and system errors.
- Cleanses reconciliation dashboards and resolves discrepancies between subledger and general ledger.
- Reconciles SOA line items, requests missing invoices, resolves variances, and recommends journal entries.
- Addresses intercompany imbalances by preparing and proposing corrective journal entries.
- Sends balance verification requests to intercompany vendors.
