Leads the development and execution of manufacturing operations management IT solutions by defining architectural frameworks, integration approaches, and strategic roadmaps that support digital transformation objectives, ensuring alignment across production and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to gather requirements, design, and validate resilient architecture, data structures, and information management components.
- Identify design limitations and ensure architectural designs meet defined requirements.
- Develop and sustain architectural foundations and enablers for agile MOM program implementation.
- Define strategies for application rationalization and create long-term architectural roadmaps.
- Evaluate the feasibility of proposed architectures and alternative solutions.
- Conduct trade-off analyses to support decision-making on technical approaches.
- Design integration solutions using service-oriented architecture and enterprise integration standards.
- Create documentation for integration designs and execute integration activities.
- Manage communication between IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure the technical environment remains efficient and well-maintained.
- Document all architectural plans, support cross-business initiatives, and integrate system components.
- Assess products for compatibility and suitability in delivery system environments.
- Support final system configurations and provide assistance to stakeholders.
- Develop standards for data and information management services.
- Evaluate how architectural choices affect the product lifecycle.
- Analyze requirements and maintain business system architectures and related documentation.
- Maintain and document service contracts (ICDs) to enable effective communication.
- Coordinate solution implementation across multiple teams from initiation through go-live.
- Deliver enabling solutions, perform due diligence, and foster collaboration during deployment.
- Work collaboratively within a team of skilled professionals to achieve shared outcomes.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required as a minimum qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience in IT solution architecture using MES platforms.
- Experience implementing and deploying Apriso MES modules and Opscenter MES systems.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows and experience delivering Manufacturing IT solutions in automotive or aerospace industries.
- Strong knowledge of organizational operations, policies, market trends, competitive landscape, and business drivers.
- Extensive experience integrating MES/MOM systems with shop floor technologies such as historians, PLCs, and production machinery.
- Familiarity with ISA 95 standards.
- Experience with MOM functions and integration standards.
- Understanding of production scheduling using tools like Quintiq or Ortems is a plus.
- Strong grasp of shop order execution, kitting, quality management, and other manufacturing modules.
- Proficiency in architecture documentation standards and tools such as Cameo.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices as applied to MES applications.
- Experience working within SAFe Agile frameworks.
- Proven background designing .NET or Java-based MES/MOM and manufacturing quality IT systems.
- Experience designing and developing integrations between ERP, APRISO, MES, and legacy systems using SOA, web services, and APIs.
- Ability to understand system-wide relationships and assess cross-functional impacts of changes.
- Capable of recognizing interdependencies among system components, anticipating future needs, and applying systems thinking to improve performance.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Kafka, IBM-Fuse, messaging queues, cloud platforms (PCF/Azure/AWS), API gateways, JWT, multi-threading, load balancing, .Net Core, ADO, CI/CD, TFS, and Git.
- Experience customizing or extending standard message and data models used in industry.
- Familiarity with PLM, 3DX, and Delmia platform implementations.
- Understanding of cloud-based architectures and deployment methods.

- Experience in the aerospace and engineering domain is preferred.
