Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in the architecture, integration, and use of proprietary software platforms across business systems
- Partner with digital solutions teams to shape and refine product strategy using industry insights and practical experience
- Help define the software development roadmap by balancing strategic objectives, client demands, resource constraints, and return on investment
- Keep product offerings current with advancements in field technologies, including construction processes, automation, and energy systems such as PV and battery storage
- Ensure software deliverables support organizational objectives and meet end-user requirements
- Lead the full lifecycle of feature development: timeline planning, requirements gathering, coordination with engineering, validation, release approval, communication, iterative enhancements, and support for documentation and training
- Design new software features and systems by engaging stakeholders, analyzing workflows, proposing improvements, creating detailed specifications and diagrams, and contributing to UI/UX design including data visualization
- Support the development and upkeep of in-app guidance and internal team documentation
- Own and optimize the product development workflow, ensuring alignment with engineering team practices
- Supervise a small team, providing mentorship and supporting professional development
