Responsibilities
- Develop, build, and sustain infrastructure services in Golang, often structured as Kubernetes operators, to power cloud platform capabilities for internal engineering teams
- Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to advance the development of the platform-as-a-service offering
- Ensure high availability, system performance, monitoring coverage, incident response, and capacity planning for the cloud environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud networking environments
- Strong grasp of distributed systems principles, including design and implementation
- Proven track record developing and managing large-scale production systems
- Solid knowledge of core systems components such as storage, networking, and operating systems
- Self-motivated individual capable of independent initiative and effective collaboration in team settings
- Proficient in Go, Python, C++, or other statically typed programming languages
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working with Golang is beneficial
- Hands-on exposure to Apache Kafka is highly desirable
