As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the development of robust, scalable systems that power intelligent travel management solutions. Your work will directly influence how large organizations optimize spending and streamline operations through data-driven platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain backend services, distributed systems, and data pipelines that handle high-volume processing
- Develop responsive front-end components using TypeScript and React to deliver intuitive user experiences
- Implement advanced filtering logic and business rules that enhance platform intelligence
- Optimize fare tracking mechanisms to maximize client savings at scale
- Collaborate on architectural decisions for systems requiring resilience and performance
- Integrate with third-party services via REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow
- Work closely with product and business teams to shape features with measurable outcomes
What We're Looking For
- At least five years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems
- Proven ability to design scalable, distributed applications
- Hands-on expertise with Python/Django and JVM-based languages such as Kotlin or Java
- Experience with TypeScript and React for front-end development
- Strong grasp of Linux environments and performance optimization techniques
- Effective communication skills and comfort giving and receiving feedback
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- A self-starter mindset with a drive to explore and learn new technologies
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to travel technology, particularly GDS providers like Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal technical initiatives
- Background in agile environments and cross-functional product delivery
