What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain high-impact backend services using Java and modern tooling
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver meaningful features
- Lead technical decisions, system design, and service decomposition to improve scalability and resilience
- Champion code quality, observability, and performance across service domains
- Conduct thorough design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to grow team capability
- Proactively identify technical debt and drive improvements that enhance system health and maintainability
- Integrate AI-assisted tools into development workflows to increase efficiency and impact
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience developing and operating complex backend systems in production
- Solid command of Java and its application in distributed, high-throughput environments
- Strong grasp of multithreading, service architecture, and performance tuning
- A pragmatic approach to building reliable, testable, and scalable systems at speed
- Ability to lead end-to-end delivery of features—from concept to deployment
- Commitment to mentorship, peer growth, and raising engineering standards
- Experience using AI in coding workflows to accelerate development and problem-solving
