Responsibilities
- Play a key role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of core platform elements, creating detailed specifications and leading the migration from legacy infrastructure to scalable, cloud-native microservices.
- Utilize AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude, or internal large language models to streamline development by automating repetitive code, generating robust test cases, and accelerating prototyping.
- Champion high engineering standards and full lifecycle ownership within the team, making balanced technical choices that support fast iteration while maintaining system stability, security, and low technical debt.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other cross-functional partners to convert user requirements and compliance standards into well-defined technical implementations, intuitive APIs, and smooth application experiences.
- Guide and support less experienced engineers (L1–L2), assist in onboarding new hires, and promote teamwork through meaningful code feedback, technical presentations, and hands-on mentorship.
- Identify potential system risks, performance issues, and security flaws early, take full responsibility for on-call duties, and ensure incidents are resolved promptly with long-term fixes implemented.
- Communicate system designs, engineering trade-offs, and operational procedures effectively through clear, well-structured documents, RFCs, and comprehensive technical documentation.
