Bristlecone is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Java, Microservices, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker (7+ Years Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support microservices with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Create and integrate RESTful APIs to manage data export processes and configurations.
  • Design secure, high-performance applications packaged in containers using Docker and orchestrated with Kubernetes on EKS.
  • Partner with DevOps to manage deployment pipelines, Helm configurations, and Kubernetes resources in AWS.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases to handle flexible data models and transformations.
  • Enhance service performance, fault tolerance, and scalability across distributed systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot batch jobs, scheduled tasks, and real-time workflow execution.
  • Enforce secure data management practices and adherence to cloud security standards.

  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot.

  • Implement secure and scalable containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests for deployments in AWS.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases to support dynamic data models and transformations.
  • Optimise performance, resilience, and scalability of services.
  • Support batch processing, scheduling, and on-demand workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with secure data handling and best practices in cloud environments.
