Responsibilities
- Lead the developer experience vision for a mid-sized engineering team.
- Enhance development tools, continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and internal platforms to increase engineering velocity and confidence.
- Create automated systems for provisioning, monitoring, deployment, and operations.
- Minimize manual work through self-sustaining system design.
- Strengthen infrastructure security and resilience across all layers.
- Integrate platform-level security best practices into core systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate security early in the development lifecycle.
- Support platform evolution to natively handle AI and machine learning workloads.
- Design infrastructure that supports experimentation, scales AI features to production, and treats AI as a core capability.
- Take full ownership of production environments.
- Embed observability deeply into all systems and services.
- Establish standards for system reliability and shape the on-call culture across engineering.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident resolution using systems thinking.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to contribute directly to backend systems, APIs, data services, and architecture when needed.
- Develop internal platforms and integrate third-party services with clean, maintainable, and scalable design principles.
