Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an authorization system using role-based, attribute-based, and relationship-based access controls to determine user permissions across the organization.
- Build and enhance an authentication infrastructure that supports diverse use cases and integrates with Auth0 for seamless identity verification.
- Create and manage a user identity platform that handles user creation, provisioning, and entitlements for all customers.
- Work closely with security specialists to ensure all identity systems are built securely and comply with SOC2 and GDPR regulations.
- Engineer high-performance, scalable backend systems capable of supporting increasing user and customer volumes.
- Help define the strategic direction for authentication, authorization, and user management platforms while leading implementation of critical projects.
- Develop self-service APIs using GraphQL, gRPC, and REST to enable internal engineering teams to easily access identity and access data.
- Collaborate daily with the User Management team and other engineering groups that rely on identity platforms.
- Promote best practices in testing, monitoring, and system reliability across all identity-related services.
