Responsibilities
- Create and manage robust data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and distributing identity-linked data at scale.
- Build ETL/ELT workflows on cloud platforms using distributed computing, making sound technical decisions.
- Develop API-first services to deliver processed identity data with clear interfaces and high reliability.
- Ensure data accuracy and system health through validation, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Contribute to reusable platform components that enable self-service access to identity data.
- Take full ownership of critical identity resolution components, improving their scalability and reliability.
- Implement data handling methods that comply with privacy laws and internal governance policies.
- Work with product, data science, and engineering teams to align systems with business needs.
- Lead technical design efforts, produce documentation, and influence architectural direction.
- Enforce code quality through thorough reviews and by promoting testable, maintainable designs.
- Guide junior engineers through feedback, pair programming, and design discussions.
- Coordinate with related teams to understand requirements and promote consistent engineering standards.
- Ensure system reliability by monitoring performance, handling incidents, and implementing post-mortems.
- Participate in on-call duties and help refine operational procedures.
- Improve CI/CD workflows, deployment strategies, and testing coverage for team systems.
Compensation
Base salary is one part of the total compensation package, which may include bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives.
