Responsibilities
- Design and deploy agentic AI workflows using tool integration, orchestration, retrieval, and human feedback loops, with full ownership from concept through post-launch operations.
- Establish AI engineering standards by building evaluation frameworks such as golden datasets, offline and online testing, experimentation systems, and disciplined prompt and version control, then scale these across teams.
- Use first-principles thinking to dissect unclear AI challenges, define targeted solutions, and build robust, maintainable systems that merge AI functionality with secure, reliable user experiences.
- Prioritize AI in system design by incorporating large language models, tooling, retrieval mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop methods to enhance product performance and development speed.
- Make decisions guided by data, including setting performance metrics, balancing quality and latency, and using empirical results to refine AI systems iteratively.
- Adapt swiftly to evolving AI models, tools, and project priorities, adjusting scope and maintaining alignment with cross-functional partners during transitions.
- Lead complex initiatives that integrate AI capabilities into core product components across backend, frontend, and platform layers.
- Build and sustain resilient, high-performing features that support both innovation in AI products and overall system dependability.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define goals, finalize requirements, and deliver solutions that generate measurable user value.
- Detect and resolve technical debt and inefficiencies in both AI and traditional code paths, enhancing code health, scalability, and developer productivity.
- Guide and develop engineers in applied AI patterns, evaluation rigor, and operational readiness for LLM-powered systems, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
