- Lead the creation of scalable ETL pipelines and storage systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Own the development of the analytics and semantic layers, including data modeling and transformation workflows.
- Establish and manage key business metrics and usage signals, enabling scalable analytical and AI-driven capabilities.
- Build and maintain data products that deliver timely, accurate insights to internal teams.
- Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks to detect and resolve data quality issues quickly.
- Guide and mentor data and software engineering team members, fostering technical growth and leadership.
- Define and promote best practices in coding, data modeling, and pipeline architecture to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work across teams to understand data requirements and influence solutions that meet business needs.
- Convert complex data requirements into executable plans and communicate data-driven insights effectively.
- Advance AI-first development approaches by adopting fast-paced, modern engineering techniques and tools.
- Write maintainable, modular, and scalable code to support rapid development cycles.
- Contribute to strategic decisions by shaping the evolution of the data platform in alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure the data infrastructure enables data-informed decision-making and supports scalable growth.
