Responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep expertise in the Core team’s domain, guiding system architecture and shaping long-term technical vision.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major features and initiatives, aligning cross-functional efforts with strategic business goals.
- Mentor engineers at all levels, strengthening team-wide technical capabilities and promoting ongoing learning.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and other partners to define requirements and make balanced technical trade-offs.
- Design and implement robust, scalable distributed systems using proven resilience patterns and engineering standards.
- Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving critical production incidents, improving system stability over time.
- Drive adoption of better development practices, including CI/CD enhancements, infrastructure as code optimization, and expanded test automation.
- Lead technical alignment across teams to ensure seamless integration and consistent design across platforms.
- Monitor advancements in technology and evaluate new tools or methods to strengthen engineering effectiveness.
- Maintain and refine the team’s delivery pipeline, continuously improving code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
- Integrate Claude Code and GitHub Copilot into daily development workflows and engage in AI-focused training to boost productivity with modern coding agents.
- Participate in on-call rotations, with duties tailored to team needs and individual expertise.
