WA.Technology is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (CMS)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product stakeholders, designers, and development teams to turn business needs into technical designs and functional systems.
• Build and sustain backend applications and services that are scalable, secure, and designed for long-term maintenance and expansion.
• Define and advocate for consistent coding standards, best practices, and clear, documented code across engineering efforts.
• Assess and guide the implementation of backend frameworks, architectures, and technologies that support scalable platform development.
• Create and manage APIs, backend services, and integrations to ensure stable communication across internal and third-party systems.
• Improve code integrity through rigorous testing, debugging, performance tuning, and peer code reviews.
• Lead technical conversations and promote knowledge exchange to elevate the team's engineering capabilities.
• Enhance CI/CD workflows, deployment methods, and production support procedures for greater efficiency and reliability.
• Identify and execute system improvements that boost performance, ease of maintenance, and developer output.
• Keep up with emerging backend technologies and advocate for practical adoption of innovations, including AI-powered coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex.
