Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and release distributed systems and applications for the Cloud Gateway Platform with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Utilize event-driven design patterns with technologies such as Kafka and Redis to create efficient and resilient systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define system needs and convert them into scalable technical implementations.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with strong test coverage.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure high availability and minimal latency.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications, primarily on AWS infrastructure.
- Operate and tune message brokers, and implement streaming and queuing solutions as needed.
- Identify and resolve performance limitations, scalability constraints, and production incidents proactively.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems during non-business hours when required.
- Keep detailed documentation for systems, tools, and operational procedures.
- Enhance CI/CD workflows, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms continuously.
Compensation
Competitive base salary with eligibility for an annual performance bonus (discretionary and dependent on company and individual performance) and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), subject to board approval and vesting terms.
