What You’ll Do
- Design and implement backend systems for banking products used by millions
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature requirements
- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on scalability and security
- Own end-to-end development cycles from concept to deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and uptime
- Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term platform growth
- Mentor other engineers and promote technical best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale backend systems
- Strong proficiency in languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala
- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects
- Understanding of database design and query optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of financial systems or payment infrastructure is a plus
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Commitment to writing tests and ensuring code quality
