Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services primarily using Ruby, with occasional work in Python and TypeScript
- Enhance front-end capabilities using modern JavaScript frameworks and TypeScript to deliver responsive user experiences
- Lead architectural discussions and contribute to system designs that ensure long-term scalability and maintainability
- Deliver complex end-to-end features from conception to deployment with a focus on quality and thorough testing
- Actively engage in Scrum rituals such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Work closely with Product, QA, PMO, and engineering teams to align technical strategies with business objectives
- Support the growth of junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical mentorship
- Promote informed technical decision-making by clearly communicating trade-offs to stakeholders
- Help refine development processes, tools, and engineering standards to elevate team productivity
