Responsibilities
- Create and implement high-performance PHP services, background tasks, and APIs for handling real financial transactions on a large scale
- Develop using modern PHP (version 8.2 or newer) with strict typing, typed properties, and adherence to PSR standards
- Construct and sustain high-performance APIs, background jobs, and features driven by databases
- Examine pull requests to identify bugs, uphold coding standards, and recommend improved patterns
- Find chances to enhance code quality, system architecture, and overall performance
- Create and support features throughout the payment platform, guaranteeing high availability and low latency for millions of users
- Collaborate closely with product managers to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives, and work with engineering leads to maintain delivery quality organization-wide
- Assume responsibility for features from initial idea to deployment, employing modern DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and agile methods
