Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications used by thousands of dental professionals. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end development of applications that solve real-world business challenges.
What You'll Do
- Create simple and intuitive web applications for a range of different end users
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain your application
- Own front-end and back-end development for your application
- Design, build, and maintain API infrastructure for integration between services and third-party systems
- Work effectively with product managers, other engineers, and business stakeholders
- Communicate technical ideas and lead projects focused on solving business challenges
What We're Looking For
- A senior-level full-stack engineer with 5+ years of experience
- Strong skills developing web applications using object-oriented languages like Ruby, Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working with Javascript frameworks and Single Page Applications
- A robust knowledge of building and working with RESTful APIs
- Experience integrating with internal and third-party services
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services
- Great communication and collaboration skills working with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Independent, proactive, and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance
