Tala is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core software systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software
- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor other engineers
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable systems
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Go)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
